Geraldine Osborne has travelled to some of the most remote and untouched regions of the world, undertaking a series of extraordinary journeys. These include crossing the uninhabited Chilean Altiplano with her artist husband, Danny Osborne, and seven llamas; traversing High Arctic sea ice by dog team with their young children; and later working on active volcanoes in Guatemala and Hawaii. Each expedition became a shared exploration, documented through writing, photography, and film. Now retired from medicine and living on the Beara Peninsula, she has turned to writing. “Somewhere Cold” is her debut book.
