Aged 70, retired Irish Times journalist Peter Murtagh rode his motorbike from Tierra del Fuego at the bottom of South America to Alaska at the top of North America. Alone and for eight months, he covered 44,000 kilometres. Reading from his best-selling book, From “Tip to Top”, and with the help of slides, Peter will talk about the sights he saw and the people he met along the way.
